new name

ok. i am officially renaming Iwanttogohome to Monandwed. cause i take that bus every monday and wednesday.



today i took Monandwed and it was the cool new bus that i talked about in my sorryyy post. and it was the same driver too! i think he's a little special, but he's really nice. he announces all the major stops to the whole bus and and waves to everyone.
the Longway was waiting when i transfered so i got on quick.

and now most of you are wondering why i dont take Shortcut... well, its because i don't know where it went. the road it goes down is under major construction, so i don't know where it goes... therefore, i cant take it. i don't want to end up someplace really far from my destination.

and i think i ripped my shoe on the bus. they have screws in the floor, and theres a rip in my new shoes. but not an ordinary rip, like it was stabbed with something, or something sharp was pressed into it. im kind of mad..i take very good care of my shoes..

broken down

Today, i took Secretbus. and i had to stand, i have never had to stand on this bus before. but on the bright side, i didnt have to pay cause the thingy that takes the metrocards was broken. so ha to all you fare hikers! lol. so all was going well,i finally got a seat, until the bus started maing funny noises. everytime the driver stepped on the brakes, you heard a grinding noise. -let me interject into my story to say that the buses have theis "kneeling" thing. the right side of the bus goes down so that elderly and handicapped can get on easily without having to climb up the high stairs.- so the bus knelt to day for an older woman.. and didnt get up. so the driver kept driving. everytime we turned or went over train tracks, the bus scraped against the ground. plus he was driving on a slant. i kept thinking the bus was going to break down and i was going to be late for work. but we made it to the Terminal

by this time i am running late so i had to take Sardines (i knoww 2 times already? what is WRONG with me??) the bus smelled like a bathroom. thats all i have to say

a day at the zoo

today was interesting. i saw a fish and a lion! i took the Iwanttogohome and then the Longway. there was a girl who got on with me, and she had jet black hair with bleach blonde highlights. plus, her hair was realllllly frizzie. and she had shiny blue eyeshadow. she really lookid like a lion. then there was another woman whose lips jutted out so far and they were so pouty, that she honestly looked like a fish.

i also saw a girl who had a bag that said "property of
if found return to"
and thats it.

im like uhhhhh property of who!? if found return to where?!! like the Tiffany jewlery that says T&Co.. but this didnt say anything.. it was odd.

to be young

Today, i took the Secret bus without any interruptions lol. But i took the Longway from the Terminal and there was a really really old lady who got on. I had to do a double-take. She was wearing a red sequined ED Hardy baseball hat and she had hot pink tips on her nails. Ahh, to be young. She was also on the phone and had a headset in. She used a ton of hand gestures. She almost hit the person next to her because she was exaggerating so much. I think this is so pointless because shes on the PHONE. You do not need to use kenesics when you are on the phone. News flash, the other person cant see you! lol.

i entered the Dunkin Donuts (i thought donut was spelled doughnut. whatever.) Make Your Own Do(ugh?)nut contest. I made a blueberry pancake do(ugh)nut. Voting opens to the public on May 15-27. I will post the link to vote when they send it to me. Vote for me!

sorryyy.

sorry i missed yesterday.. the only thing that happened was that i took sardines cause i needed to get home and there was a guy with no front teeth who was talking to the guy next to him really really loud.

so today i took iwantotgohome, but it was a new "hybrid" bus. it was sooooooo cool.. it had steps in the back. it was so nice. and the bus driver, who ive had before, was so nice. he told me he liked my earrings. and have a nice day when i got off.

then i took the Longway and there were like 3 women with babies. it was odd. and for some reason a lot of elderly get on this bus i dont know why. ok so i get off the bus and im walking and i find that i cant cross a street to get to my block cuse of roadwork. so i have to go like all the way down the all the way back up again it was annoying.

and i just found out that they are raising the bus fares to 3.50.which means that it will cost me 14$ to get home from school every week. so i am not a happy buser.

Non Homeless

Today, i gave a non-homeless man a dollar. i say non-homeless because after i gave him a dollar he proceded to engage in a one-sided conversation about how he spends all his cash on rent(Hence non-homeless) and how he wishes he stayed in college and a million other things. then he said thank you for the dollar and then he walked away. Thank God i was in the crowded Terminal cause he probably would have kept talking for a really long time. he was nice though. he kept thanking me. and he had enough sense not to like shake my hand or anything. cause he was an old creepy-looking man and im just an 18yr old girl. lol
OH. i almost forgot. i don't post on Fri, Sat, or Sun cause i dont have school. so no bus. and i probably won't post in the summer either.

oh and i founf out my school bookstore sells 8.05$ metrocards. who needs an 8.05$ metrocard anyway?! buses are 2$ a ride. where does that extra .05cents come from? its like why are hotdogs sold in packages of 10 but buns in packages of 8? why did robyn get an unneeded 5 cents on her metrocard? its the same answer. the world may never know.
